Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the tiny screen. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. Soon after, she moved to Texas and completed her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas prior to moving to Florida, Orlando. She was in Orlando for a range of roles from local independent films to global commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering she loved acting. After that, she relocated in New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Her roles were sporadic on JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief drama The Mountain. De La Garza had the delight of working with great TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama TV show. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko as Horatio his wife. Her most current TV work was in NBC's dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory and is Italian from a family of Italian origin. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano began her acting career at the age of seven when her babysitter joined her for an audition. Her audition was among over 1000 applicants. She was selected as one of only four girls. Milano was featured in television commercials, off Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American debut of Jane Eyre.
